Delays Due - 2011 Amgen Traffic Details

The Amgen Tour of California will roll in to Stanislaus County on Tuesday, May 17. The California Highway Patrol will be managing road closures along the racecourse to provide safety and security to the race participants as well as to the public.

Please be prepared for closures at the following locations (times are not exact and may be modified):

• Milton Road/Twenty-Six Mile Road will be closed to northbound traffic from SR-120 beginning at 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Roadway will be closed to southbound traffic beginning at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

• Yosemite Avenue/SR-120 (J9/J14) will be closed to northbound traffic from Greger Road, through the city of Oakdale, beginning at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (traffic will be diverted to Armstrong Way). Roadway will be closed to southbound traffic from Twenty-Six Mile Road beginning at 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Please be prepared for traffic delays on the following roadways between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.:

• All roadways in and around downtown Oakdale

• The following roadways between Oakdale and Modesto: Greger Road, Kaufman Road, Patterson Road, Bentley Road, Milnes Road, Claus Road and Scenic Drive (there will be other closures in the city of Modesto).
