Local residents will have the chance to get information and offer their input on the city’s sign ordnance at a special workshop.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. and it will be hosted in the City of Oakdale Council Chambers at 277 N. Second Ave.

The city is currently undergoing a comprehensive update of the city’s sign ordinance. Topics of discussion at the workshop are scheduled to include: purposes of regulation, principles of good signage, sign ordinance components, major issues, and implementation and enforcement.

All those interested in learning more about the existing sign ordinance and the proposed updates are encouraged to attend.
