The path from the Gilbert Avenue youth center down G Street to the Bianchi Community Center at G and South Second was filled with a parade of costumed cuties, golden oldies, dogs and assorted villains and heroes on Saturday.
It was all part of Oakdale’s annual Community Halloween event, co-hosted by the city and the Oakdale Kiwanis Club.
Along with the parade, those attending could enjoy a free hot dog dinner, a variety of games, prizes and candy in the Oakdale Town Plaza, before heading out for an evening of trick or treating on the town.
