Fitness Event

CrossFit Oakdale will participate in a one day national fitness event on Saturday, Nov. 12. The event will take place at different gyms throughout the country on that same day. Participants will be working with a partner through five workouts that range from gymnastics and weightlifting movements. Proceeds from the event will go to Barbells for Boobs, a foundation that aims at providing all women with mammograms, insured or not. Church Craft Fair

St. Mary’s Catholic Church will host the 11th Annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be hosted at the Parish Hall, 55 Oak St., Oakdale. Close to 50 vendors are expected including quilts, jewelry, toys, leather goods and home décor. Proceeds from the event are used for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for families in need. Holiday Fundraiser

The Stanislaus Senior Foundation will host its Annual Holiday Fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held at the historic McHenry Museum, 1402 I St., Modesto. Hors d’oeuvres, wine and a silent auction will be offered for those in attendance. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased on line at www.stanislausseniorfoundation.org or by calling 848-2635.
