An AARP, American Association of Retired Persons, four-hour refresher course is scheduled at the Oak Valley Hospital Medical Center, 1425 W. H St., on Wednesday, Aug. 10. Hours for the event are 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attendees must have completed a previous eight-hour course.

Taking the AARP Driver Safety renewal course will renew your three-year Driver Safety Course certificate and make you aware of changes in ourselves, driving laws, roads and new auto technologies. This information can create increased driving skills and enhance safety in dealing with today’s complex driving experience.

Fees are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
