The 2020 Oakdale Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Luncheon is on the schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020. This event will be held once again at the Gene Bianchi Community Center in honor and appreciation for those that serve the community. The luncheon event will run from noon to 1 p.m.

The four branches of law enforcement to be honored again this year will be The Oakdale Police Department, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, The California Highway Patrol, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife. This L.E.A.D. event (Law Enforcement Appreciation Day) is part of a greater annual nationwide day of respect and acknowledgement of Law Enforcement servants.

The appreciation luncheon is organized by the Oakdale Rotary and supported by additional service clubs and members of the Oakdale community including the Lions, Soroptimists, and Kiwanis clubs. Now in its third year of existence, due to the growing community response, the attendance has doubled in size every year. The appreciation of service provided by our local law enforcement organizations has been evident from citizens and local businesses, organizations, Oakdale Joint Unified School District, youth groups and pastors in town.

Tickets to the event will be pre-sold and are available prior to the event for $20 from the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce, the Oakdale Golf and Country Club or online at www.OakdaleRotary.com. Lunch will be prepared by Medlen’s House of Beef. All individuals and organizations are invited. There is also opportunity at this time to still reserve a table of eight for this event.
