At the meeting of the Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) there were not many in attendance. No overnight parking on the roads or parking lots in town was discussed. It is an ordinance now but some people overnight camp in the Plaza. Also discussed was the traffic in town. There have been citations issued for not stopping at the stop signs. Bicyclists can be issued citations for not stopping also.

Denise Ray had a convention in Austin, Texas so took the boys, Jordan and Alec and hubby Roger with her. They did the River Walk, saw the Alamo and ate a lot of Bar-B-Que. They also went to Louisiana and through Colorado to visit friends.

The Knights Ferry Community Clubhouse was packed for the memorial for Tom Crom. Tom’s fishing buddy, Reverend Cliff Sexton led the service. Tom’s brother-in-law told many tales of Tom when he was a youngster, including rear ending a Sheriff’s car. There was a video show and a lovely dinner for all. Knights Ferry will miss Tom but will be there for Denise.
