Megan Burroughs Brezovar and husband Jay renewed their wedding vows in Lake Tahoe on their 10th anniversary. Family and friends joined the couple and helped them celebrate.

Knights Ferry Garden Club weeded around the flagpole at the cemetery for their May meeting. They adjourned for lunch on Maureen McKibban’s deck.

Congratulations go out to Jill Cadmus on her graduation from Veterinary school.

Knights Ferry School Students of the month for April were: Ben Cassinetto, Alexis Elting, McKenzie Regan, Madison Regan, Salvador Limon, Sergio Garcia, Austin Santillo, Mikali Willis and Denali Benson.

At the Knights Ferry School Board meeting, Principal Cheryl was absent; she flew to Washington as her daughter was having her baby. The Board approved the offer of employment to Arijaan Bulk, taking the place of retiring Bev Noe. The Parent/Teacher Club announced the gift of $15,000 for a new aide to replace retiring Cheryl Hodge. The new officers of the PTC are: President- Tasha Sweet, Vice-President- Bonnie Witzke, Secretary- Sara Sundberg and Treasurer- Jackie Hendricks. Graduation is set for May 29th at 7 p.m.
