Spring is in the air, the almond blossoms are popping!

Welcome to the world Forest Ingram, born to Steve and Cassandra on February 7th. She weighed in at 8 pounds 2 ounces. She joins big sister Ocean at home in Oakdale.

Tim Hudelson was the recipient of the “Birthday Song” at the 50’s Roadhouse last Wednesday.

Ken Morris is home recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Hurry and heal!

Carol Davis spent some time at her son’s home so she could watch granddaughter Autumn play basketball. It was the last game of the season for the Monte Vista High School team and they beat their rival. Autumn was high point person for the game.

Condolences go out to Julie Mattox on the death of her mother Donna Smallwood. Donna used to live on Morrison Road and was active in the community.

On Saturday there was a service and celebration of life for Suzanne Feichter Holton. She is survived by her father, George Feichter, Granddaughter Amber Ulrich, Brothers Ric, Steve and Paul Feichter and sister Sheryl Mack and stepsister Patti Sandoval and stepbrother Jeff Shearer.

March is right around the corner so here are some dates for your calendar; March 3rd is Breakfast Sunday at the I.O.O.F. Hall from 8:00 a.m. till noon. The Museum will be open. March 7th is the Community Club dessert meeting at 7:00 p.m. March 10th Daylight Savings time starts. March 12 is the meeting of the History and Museum Associates at Miller’s Hall at 9:00 a.m. March 13 is the Knights Ferry Garden Club meeting to be held at Cafe Bliss. March 14th is the School Board meeting at 6:30 at the school. March 16th is the Silent/Live Auction and dinner at 5:30 at the clubhouse. March 23rd is the Spaghetti Dinner at 5:00 p.m. at the clubhouse in conjunction with the Civil War re-enactments on Saturday and Sunday. March 28th is the MAC meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the clubhouse and March 31 is Easter. It is a busy month!
