Don’t forget to come to the Community Club’s annual Freedom Picnic held at the Community Club on July 7th at 5pm. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! The Club will provide hot dogs and chips for everyone. Each family should bring a side dish or a dessert to share!

Main Street was very busy because it seemed that everyone was enjoying the long weekend and good weather out in Knights Ferry. The garbage seems to be an ongoing problem, my husband and I picked up a full garbage bag on our walk. I know we aren’t the only ones who do this but I appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep our town clean!

The River’s Edge Campground is off to a good start this summer! They have small cabins, RV sites, and tent sites available for rent. The campground is right on the river, behind the River’s Edge restaurant and has lots of shade, fire pits, and picnic tables for visitors.
