Knights Ferry Community Church is in need of some TLC in the gardening department. On February 10 at 10 a.m., the Church is seeking volunteers to help with some heavy lifting and digging to replace several frozen plants and stabilize a small block wall. The tools, coffee, and snacks will be provided for the volunteers but please bring work gloves if needed. For more information, please contact Dolly Haskell at the Post Office.

Unfortunately, Dodge Ridge was not able to open due to lack of snow so the fifth-eighth grader skiing and snowboarding field trip was postponed.

The Paint Nite in Knights Ferry was a huge success. The Community Club was filled with 71 painters and two professional artists helping the group every step of the way as they painted the Covered Bridge on their very own canvas. A lot of people were surprised at how much fun they had at the painting party. While there was coffee, hot chocolate, lemonade, and cookies provided by the Community Club, many painters brought their own goodies and drinks. The instructor spoke through a microphone and played music while the painters painted. The whole room was full of chatter and laughter the entire time.

The instructor ladies stayed at our local AirBnB hosted at the Shuper residence for a few days to check out Knights Ferry. They enjoyed our town and the group of painters!
