Thursday, July 6th is the Community Picnic at 6:00 p.m. at the clubhouse. The club will provide the hot dogs, buns and drinks and Lee will do the beans. A-M brings salads and sides and N-Z desserts.

The Stanislaus River claimed another victim. A 22 year old went tubing with a group that had their inner tubes tied together. The force of the water pushed them into a tree where the rope got caught and dumped some people out. The girl got caught up in the ropes and the current pushed her under. Even though she was wearing a life vest, the water was so strong it pinned her under. He friends managed to get her out and started CPR when the rescue boat, helicopter and firemen arrived. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Hope this week sees no more deaths!

Angie Martinelli’s son Pete celebrated his 9th birthday with a party at the Martinelli ranch. They had Bubble Balls, Bouncy slides and jumps and a lot of fun. It was a great family get-together.
