The lovely spring air was rent with cannon booms this weekend with the Civil War re-enactors battling by the bridge. The North and South were camped in the Army Corp Park and were open for touring. It was lovely weather for fighting!

Be on the watch for a gold or tan pickup that robbed the Silva shop on Orange Blossom on Sunday morning. They rang the doorbell and Bridget got dressed and went out and a young girl was driving the pickup, which was backed to the shop and had two dirt bikes in it and a young man ran out, jumped in the truck and they sped off. The dirt bikes were in the very back of the shop and not visible from the road. A third bike was still in the shop. On a similar note, a gold or tan pick-up harassed a boy on Morrison on March 6. It came from Frymire Road and threw things at the boy and called him names.
