At the Community Club meeting the plans for the Spaghetti Dinner in conjunction with the Civil War (March 11) were worked on. The club needs donated items to raffle. Wayne Philbrook from the Oakdale Library gave a talk on the Library and its annual book sale. The club has a new rental sign on the building. Because of termites, the excess dirt under the building has to be removed.

Knights Ferry School’s first through fourth graders enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year with a feast provided by Christina Chan and Russ Porter. They enjoyed the food and Chinese New Year treats.

Coyotes have been howling and Jim Rotelli’s goats have been targeted for a meal. Now there is a trap set and flashing lights to deter them.

There will be a mid-winter recess for Knights Ferry School from February 20 to the 24th.
