The 59th Pumpkin Roll was a success! The weather was good, the crowd was full, and the food was delicious. The winners: 0-5 year old girls, Lilli Burtschi; 0-5 year old boys, Niko Carrasco; 6-12 year old girls, Lauren Porter; 6-12 year old boys, Kai Thompson; 13-19 year old girls, Nathaly Ramirez; 13-19 year old boys, Deagan Sweet; adult women, Heather Voortman; adult men, Elliot Basmajian; senior women, Frances Douglas; and senior men, Carl Shafer. Congratulations to our World Champion Pumpkin Rollers for 2022! The Pumpkin Roll shirts sold quickly. The shirts featured a pumpkin wearing a top hat as a tribute to Mr. Lee Shearer who passed away in July of 2022. Lee was known for sporting a top hat as he announced the names of each participant as the emcee of the Pumpkin Roll. He contributed many years of service to the Pumpkin Roll. The Community Club would like to thank Tracy Greisner, Rick Feichter, Will Haskell-Kelly, and the entire crew who helped put on the Pumpkin Roll.
