The Miller’s Hall and Associates hosted their annual Night at the Museum in the Knights Ferry Museum on Saturday. The evening is held to thank the members for their continued support and to invite others to learn about the museum. This year was a fall theme and the dedicated ladies planned an evening to remember. The museum was full of new faces and some were lucky enough to learn the history of Knights Ferry from Carol Davis and Miles Shupper. It was a very special evening highlighting our very special town. Thank you to all who planned the memorable event!

The Knights Ferry Art Studio celebrated their grand opening on Sunday! There was a ribbon cutting ceremony and the art studio received recognition from the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce. Randy Mandy & the Frequency Experience opened up the Open Mic time inviting people to express their talents through song, poetry, dance, and other forms of talent. The art studio has been open for a few months now holding numerous local art activities for all ages and contributing to local environmental conservation activities. They have been a wonderful addition to our community!

Sheatherfest is well underway! There will be lots of visitors in town all weekend enjoying musical talents from near and far. The festival will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the River’s Edge and at Rick’s Saloon!

The students of Knights Ferry School will be parading downtown for their annual Halloween costume parade and trick or treating chaos! The kids will be parading downtown at 11am so plan for additional travel time if you are driving through town.

The Pumpkin Roll is coming up soon on Sunday, November 5th at the Knights Ferry Community Club! There will be many activities in town so plan to spend the whole day in town. Pumpkin Roll sign-ups begin at 10:45am and the girls and boys ages 0-5 will begin to roll at 12pm. Inside the Clubhouse will be vendors, the Garden Club will sell their infamous pumpkin roll desserts, and the Odd Fellows will have their hot pancake breakfast for purchase next door! It will be a great day of local fun and community. See you there!
