The third and fourth graders experienced two full days of immigration experiences. On day one, the kids dressed up in clothes from their ancestry, packed their bags, and visited the various stations just like their ancestors once did. The immigrants had medical checks, inspections, and interviews before they received their passport. On day two, they went on a field trip to Angel Island to where the process took place. They saw the dormitories and facilities where some immigrants were kept for weeks at a time before they could enter the country.

The Knights Ferry fifth through eighth grades faced off with Shiloh Elementary in flag football and volleyball. Knights Ferry won both flag football games and lost both volleyball games.
