It’s hard to believe we are at the top of the year 2024! There is no shortage of activities in Knights Ferry throughout the year including car shows, music festivals, and the Pumpkin Roll just to name a few. That doesn’t include the impromptu gatherings and activities at the bars and sometimes on Main Street! The year 2024 is a great year to start getting involved in the various groups and clubs in town. The Community Club, the Masonic Lodge, the Odd Fellows Lodge, the Miller’s Hall Museum and Associates, the Knights Ferry Community Services District (the Water Board), and the MAC committee are just a few to name.

The Knights Ferry Odd Fellows Lodge announced the passing of Pilar Rose Kopping on December 9th, 2023. She was a very active member and was a past State Officer for the Rebekahs. I remember Pilar taking money or seating the hungry patrons on the Odd Fellow’s monthly pancake breakfast. She will be missed by all.

The Knights Ferry School is planning to do some major improvements to the facility to include creating additional parking and a building designated for the Junior High!
