Knights Ferry School was a full house on the first day of school. There was pure excitement in the air while all the kids bustled into their classrooms. New secretary, Amiee Ryan looked very comfortable behind the front desk! The school has various upgrades including new blinds in some classrooms and tile in a few of the bathrooms. It was a bittersweet year for me personally, because it was my LAST first day of school at Knights Ferry School.

Dr. J hosted a coffee and donut morning for Knights Ferry School parents on Friday. It was a small group but there were a lot of Kindergarten moms. Welcome to the school, ladies!

Back to School night will be a bit different this year, grades TK-Third will have Back to School night on, Wednesday, August 22nd and grades Fourth-Eighth will be on Thursday, August 23rd. Both dates will start at 6:15 p.m. in the cafeteria and end approximately at 7:15 p.m.

Finally, welcome Bridgette Hobbs to the Bobcat staff as the school’s new resource specialist!
