Knights Ferry School has been very busy the last few weeks! The 5th-8th graders went to Dodge Ridge for their ski/snowboard trip. The snow conditions were amazing and no injuries were reported! The 5th-8th graders finished their basketball season with games against Shiloh Elementary. The Kindergarteners harvested broccoli, radishes, and carrots from their garden bed. Each class has been taking turns with farm duties learning about the new chickens and collecting eggs. I hear the 4th graders are headed to Sutter’s Fort soon and I can’t wait to report about the field trip! The 5th graders were rock stars when they took a walking field trip and collected lots of garbage that was littered near the bridge.

The Rainbow Girls will be volunteering at the Miller’s Hall on the third Thursday of the month. The girls will be tidying up the Museum and putting books away in the library. Thank you for your service, ladies!

The Odd Fellows Canton #2 will hold a pancake breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings of the Civil War days on March 25th and March 26th. Mark your calendars!
