Congressman Josh Harder

Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) was selected this month as a recipient of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award in recognition of his pro-business record in Congress. This was the second year in a row he has been selected for the honor.

Harder has been dedicated to supporting American businesses throughout his time in office. He helped pass the Paycheck Protection Program which has saved almost 100,000 jobs in the Central Valley and is working to secure millions in federal investments for projects such as the Crows Landing Business Park Project that will create thousands of new good paying jobs in the Valley.

“Before I ran for office, my job was to help the smallest operations grow into real and successful companies. I was proud to take that know-how to Congress and I’m honored to be recognized for the work we’re doing in the Central Valley,” said Harder. “We need policies that make it easier to start a business and hire workers right here in the Valley, more investments in projects such as the Crows Landing Business Park Project, and a commitment to improving our infrastructure so all our workers and businesses can succeed. I’ll keep at it until our Valley is among the best places in the country to work and to run a business.”

“These awards recognize members of Congress based on their co-sponsorship of legislation important to the business community,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark. “The Chamber appreciates Rep. Harder’s support of policies that create jobs and support economic growth.”
