Clothing donations are still being accepted and Saturday, Aug. 21 is the official date for the annual clothes distribution being put on by the Oakdale Enrichment Society.

Those that have items to donate for the effort can drop them off at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale. Drop off hours are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday, Aug. 19.

The Community Closet: Clothing “Free-For-All” annual event is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Center. There will be all sizes of clothing, for men, women and children and all clothes will be available for free. Everyone is welcome to attend the community closet event, designed to assist those who might need to spruce up their wardrobe but don’t have the means at the moment to purchase new items.
