Oakdale FFA members recently attended a three-day sectional leadership conference in Pinecrest over a weekend, at Camp Sylvester. During this time FFA chapters from the Stanislaus-Tuolumne section and the Tri-Rivers section went along with two delegates selected by their chapters. These delegates were to vote for the new sectional officers that would represent each section at regional meetings and events and also help run the section.

The new officers were installed and the retiring officers were recognized. Oakdale FFA recently had two chapter officers slated for sectional offices, chapter Treasurer Sophia Fifer was elected as Stanislaus-Tuolumne Section Treasurer and chapter Secretary Madison Morgan was elected as Stanislaus-Tuolumne Section Sentinel.

In between these activities chapter officers were split up by office positions with other chapters to explain the specific duties of that office and also committee chairs and members talked about how to keep other members involved. On the final day, the chapters were put into groups to participate in team bonding activities.
