While the Friday night, Jan. 24 boys varsity basketball contest didn’t go according to plan –the squad lost in overtime to East Union – it was still a fun week on the Oakdale High School campus, full of Winter Homecoming festivities. Taking home the crowns and royal honors were Homecoming Prince freshman Jackson Seefeldt and Homecoming Princess freshman Sydney Peregoy, along with Homecoming Princess junior Taylor Krum and Homecoming King junior Parker Whitemyer. Among the special events during the week, students enjoyed forming teams for the popular lip sync battle and also took part in a tug of war, attended a Friday afternoon rally and participated in dress up days.
