As Oakdale Chamber of Commerce officials start putting together plans for the 76th Annual Oakdale Awards Banquet, they are also seeking nominations for a number of honors.

Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Junior Achievement and Community Service awards will be presented, with nominations sought in each of these areas.

Nomination forms may be obtained on the Chamber’s website at oakdalechamber.com

The deadline for submitting a nomination is Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.

The banquet is scheduled on Friday, March 11 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale.

Criteria for the Business of the Year award are that the nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics: Revenue growth and/or job growth; innovative products or services; provides exemplary customer service and demonstrates the Oakdale Spirit; volunteers in the Oakdale community.

For Citizen, Junior Achievement and Community Service honors, qualities looked for are as follows: Continually volunteers time, dedication and talents to the town and citizens to make Oakdale a great place to live, work, play and learn; has made a positive difference to the lives of fellow citizens; has demonstrated a willingness to work with others to improve the quality of life in Oakdale by helping others; demonstrates qualities of honesty and integrity.
