Business opening its doors in Oakdale
Grand opening

Some stories begin with a business plan. Oakwilde began generations ago.

Inspired by a family journey that stretched from the Dust Bowl of Oklahoma and the ranches of New Mexico to California’s Central Valley, Oakwilde was built on the values passed down by strong women, hard work, and an enduring love of the western way of life. Along the way, turquoise became more than jewelry – it became a symbol of heritage, resilience, and connection.

Those values eventually found a home in Oakdale.

Long before there was a storefront, there was a pop-up tent at the Oakdale Morning Market, weekends at local rodeos, and community events where people stopped to visit, share stories about the turquoise they’d inherited, and discover a new piece that spoke to them.

Now with a storefront in town, all are welcome to attend the grand opening of Oakwilde Trading Co., Oakdale’s first dedicated turquoise and silver jewelry boutique. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 809 W. F St., Oakdale, with a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. and the formal open house from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy refreshments, door prizes, giveaways, and an evening celebrating community and western heritage.
