Annual Run, Walk Against Hunger Scheduled
Turkey Walk

San Joaquin County’s largest Thanksgiving Day event, the Run and Walk Against Hunger, presented by the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation, will be welcoming runners back to downtown Stockton this year. Participants will be invited to ‘move their feet before they eat’ on Thursday, Nov. 24. Registration is now open.

“Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots are some of the most popular running events in the entire country, and for the Food Bank, it makes sense,” said Dr. Leonard Hansen, Emergency Food Bank CEO. “Thanksgiving is all about family, food and fun. When runners put on their running bibs, they are ensuring that needy families within the county will be able to provide healthy meals for their families.”

Celebrating its 18th year, the run is just like a Thanksgiving Day spread, offering plenty of options to choose from. Race day features three events, a Kids Fun Run, a 5k Run/Walk and a 10K Run. For more information and to register, visit www.runagainsthunger.org
