The Stockton Open Air Market appears the place to be on most Sundays.

Indicative of that is the parking situation – the cars from the early birds often fill the front lot of the 20 acre site to the point where the latecomers to this busy flea market are forced to park along and across Wilson Way.

The Stockton Open Air Market is commonly referred to as the Wilson Way flea market for obvious reasons – it’s located at 3550 N. Wilson Way.

For kids, this is where they could pick up a pack of Pop Pop Snappers, take a spin on one of the midway rides or hop around in the bounce house.

That’s what separates this flea market from the others.

Of course, the Stockton Open Air Mall has a wide selection of garage-sale items, tools, new merchandise, cleaning supplies, fresh produce, clothes, antiques and an array of food vendors.

Need a haircut? This place has a setup for that inside an RV that charges $6 for a men’s or child’s cut or $12 for women and girls.

Looking for a little encouragement about the future? The Stockton Open Air Market offers up a psychic who can do a reading for a low as $10.

Hours of operation are Fridays through Sundays, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
