Entries Sought For Annual Carnegie Art Exhibition

The call has gone out for entries that will be featured in a special exhibit at the Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock.

Farms & Fields is an annual juried exhibition that celebrates the variety and importance of agriculture in the Central Valley. The show will run in the Carnegie’s Lobby Galleries from May 9 through July 28, 2019. Carnegie Arts Center is at 250 N. Broadway in Turlock.

Artists from northern and central California may submit work in any medium that is influenced or inspired by the agricultural bounty of the Central Valley.

Complete rules and details can be found on the Carnegie’s website at www.carnegieartsturlock.org. Entries will be accepted online through SmarterEntry.com. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $20 for the first entry, $15 for each additional entry for non-member artists; $15 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry for members of the Carnegie Arts Center.

Grand Prize award is $500; with two Awards of Merit presented at $125 each; four Honorable Mentions at $50 per award.
