Committee Co-Chair Rochele Roura-Foster said, “We take the time to honor those who believe in a better community by participating through philanthropy, volunteerism or, simply, acts of kindness. Recognizing the work of philanthropists and the quality of their character will help usher in the next generation of compassionate people looking forward to cooperatively improving our community.”
Returning this year is the “Champion” designation, which allows organizations to recognize and celebrate the person who has been instrumental in the success of their charitable organization over the past year. All attending non-profit organizations are invited to participate. These organizations can choose to honor a star volunteer, devoted member, major financial supporter, or outstanding staff member. The designated “Champions” will be recognized at the National Philanthropy Day Luncheon. To learn more about how to designate your “Champion,” contact Flores at (209) 338-5032 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
