As the main contributor to the Living pages of our newspaper I am always looking for new and different ideas.

A version of this ‘Best Ever’ series caught my eye in the local paper of the area where our family vacations each summer. The topic was a bit different and the answers were equally different and intriguing.

As our newspaper continues to expand and evolve on the World Wide Web, I have searched for a way to have our readers interact with us, as well as the community. Blogging is a great tool, but not utilized nearly as much as I had hoped. Few seem to want their photo published and while many may read the blogs, few comment.

So, here’s a new venue … our ‘Best Ever’ series. This concept will appear periodically on the Living pages of the paper with hopes that many of you will want to share your thoughts by posting a comment at the end of the piece on our webpage. It’s just that simple.

Of course we still want you to read the hard news, the happenings of the city council, the lockdown and all the latest goings on of our schools. At the end of the day, however, we hope you find this to be a little fun, refreshing and perhaps a new way to share your views without worrying about nasty looks at the grocery store.
