Jason Ian Young and Riki Nicole Hill have announced their plans to wed in August of this year.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jerry and Nancy Hill and the sister of Jessica Layton. She was a 2004 Oakdale High School graduate and graduated from Kaplan College in 2009 with a RDA license. She works as an oral surgery assistant.

The prospective groom is the son of Roland Young and Benita Young.

He graduated from Modesto Christian High School in 2004 and works as an EMT for AMR and is currently enrolled in a paramedic program.

He proposed on June 17, 2012 in Monterey at Lovers Point Beach after the couple had been dating for three years.

They plan to wed Aug. 24, 2013 at the Del Rio Country Club and will reside in Riverbank.
