A girl, Vanessa Elena Ramirez, was born Nov. 4, 2011 to expectant parents Irvin and Yolanda Ramirez of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Yolanda DelosRios.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Breauna, Johnny and Dominic.

Victor and Teresa Sanchez of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Enrique and Maria Cervantes of Merced are paternal grandparents.
