A girl, Shelby Grace Curry, was born Oct. 21, 2011 to expectant parents Clifton and Kristi Curry of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Kristi Loomis.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Ryan and Katelynn.

Russ and Kathy Loomis of Claymont, DE are the maternal grandparents.

Rodger and Nancy Curry of Roswell, New Mexico are paternal grandparents.
