A boy, Julian Jesus Guy Serna, was born April 24, 2009 to expectant parents Jose and Yajaira Serna of Oakdale. The newborn weighed nine pounds, two ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
The mother is the former Yajaira Salinas.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Michael and Javier.
Javier and Maria Salinas of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
