A girl, Mia Juliette Clayton, was born July 8, 2009 to expectant parents Nick Clayton and Amanda McLane of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Ken McLane of Wascom, Texas and Joyce McLane of Victorville are the maternal grandparents.
Daryl Clayton of Colton is the paternal grandfather.
