Miguel and Carmen Castro of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Melissa Castro, on October 3, 2012.

The newborn weighed six pounds, seven ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Carmen Ruvalcaba.

Welcoming home their new baby sister were big sisters Natalee and Daisy.

Javier Ruvalcaba and Teresa Romo are the maternal grandparents.

Manuel Castro and Olivia Gutierrez are the paternal grandparents.
