A girl, Lovena Eliyanah Merrill, was born Jan. 16, 2013 to expectant parents Christy Camacho and Alex Merrill of Oakdale.

The newborn weighed seven pounds, 15 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Christy Douglass.

Welcoming home their new baby sister were big siblings Marco, Serenity, Mekaylia, and Destinie Camacho.

Betty Chavez and Kelly Douglass of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
