A girl, Gabriel Aldaz, was born June 9, 2011 to expectant parents Miguel Angel Aldaz and Maria Barajas of Riverbank. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 11 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Angel and Mariana Aldaz.
Angel Barajas and Martha Banuelos of Mexico are the maternal grandparents.
Roberto Aldaz and Rosalina Gallegos of Mexico are paternal grandparents.
