Dylan Dustin Boothe, a son, was born Aug. 12, 2012 to expectant parents Dustin and Sonia Boothe of Oakdale.

The mother is the former Sonia Prasad.

The baby weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces on arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Maternal grandparents are Dhiren (Chad) and the late Niru Prasad of Oakdale.

Paternal grandparents are Scott and Linda Boothe of Modesto.
