A girl, Ailany Blanco, was born Dec. 20, 2010 to expectant parents Pedro Blanco and Priscilla Diaz of Oakdale. The newborn weighed nine pounds, two ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older sister, Amarissa Blanco.

Maricruz Saucedo is the maternal grandmother.

Antonio and Beatriz Blanco are the paternal grandparents.
