Will and Jean Hilsabeck of Oakdale celebrated 60 years of marriage on Sept. 23, 2010.
The couple met at Oakdale High School. They were wed in Mountain Grove, Missouri. They later moved back to Oakdale, where they have resided for the past 20-plus years. They count family times as among their favorite memories.
Mr. Hilsabeck retired as a route driver with Dolly Madison/Rainbo Cakes. He now spends his ‘retirement’ staying busy pastoring for Central General Baptist Church in Modesto. Mrs. Hilsabeck is a choir director and organizer for the church as well.
The Hilsabecks are the parents of three children, Diana (Randi) Mittelstadt of Groveland, Randy (Tamsey) Hilsabeck of Russelville, Arkansas and Karla (Jeff) Brouwer of Modesto; and three grandchildren, Melissa Brouwer of San Diego, Stacy Brouwer of Berkeley and Daniel Hilsabeck of Russelville, Arkansas.
