“We were able to send some of our top kids to Fresno to run on the state meet course against a very talented field. We get better running against top notch competition and that is what the Roughrider Invitational provided for us,” noted coach Guy Fowler. “On Saturday, the rest of the team ran a challenging old school course in Hughson. This meet provides barriers and a mud hole the athletes have to run through. It is a fun race but challenging at the same time. We are right where we want to be as far as our training is going and should be ready to put forth our best race of the season on October 30 at the VOL League Championship Meet at Woodward Reservoir.”
