Oakdale Ousts Kimball With Top Performances In Pool

In the second swim meet of the season, Oakdale defeated visiting Kimball on Thursday, March 4. All three levels were victorious for the Mustangs as the varsity girls won 103-56, varsity boys 129-30 and the junior varsity girls went unopposed. Oakdale’s next meet is scheduled for Friday, March 12 at 3:30 p.m., at home against Weston Ranch.

Following are the top three finishers for OHS in each event for the trio of teams.

 

VARSITY GIRLS

Ashlynn See - 200 Yard Medley Relay along with Marissa Raggio, Jordyn Pope and Kaci Jericoff (Second Place 2:08.84); 50 Yard Freestyle (First Place 26.09); 200 Yard Freestyle Relay along with Marissa Raggio, Izzy Salzer and Kaci Jericoff (Second Place 1:56.06); 100 Yard Backstroke (First Place 1:06.87).

Kailey Ballantyne - 200 Yard Medley Relay along with Izzy Salzer, Brooke Wheat and Ellie Fox (Third Place 2:24.39); 200 Yard Freestyle (Third Place 2:33.81); 100 Yard Backstroke (Third Place 1:16.56); 400 Yard Freestyle Relay along with Alexia Jablon, Brooke Wheat and Maddy Renfrow (First Place 4:46.91).
