This past week Oakdale’s youth football Stampede squads hosted the Manteca Jaguars inside The Corral.
Oakdale’s varsity team won the contest due to forfeit. Manteca only had a handful of kids dress for the game, thus awarding Oakdale the win. Oakdale improved to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the AFC. The Stampede is currently in third place in the standings and will take on Riverbank on the road Saturday night at 7 p.m.
In junior varsity action it was business as usual for the unbeaten Stampede. Oakdale dominated the Jaguars 62-0 to improve to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in AFC play. Saturday Oakdale will travel to face Riverbank at 3 p.m.
Oakdale’s Pee-Wee team was victorious 26-12 over Manteca. Oakdale is now 3-2 on the season and 2-1 in the AFC. Oakdale takes on Riverbank at 1 p.m. Saturday.
All games will be played at Riverbank Sports Complex.
