Week seven saw the Oakdale Stampede youth football teams travel to Livingston to play the Wolves. Two of the three clubs came away with road wins for Oakdale in what has to be considered a successful road trip.

Oakdale’s varsity boys improved to 6-1 on the season after knocking off the Wolves (2-5) 46-6. Oakdale has won four straight games are currently in second place in the AFC Cencal standings. Oakdale returns home to The Corral on Oct. 15 for the first time since Sept. 17 as the boys welcome the Cougars (0-7) from Merced. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The junior varsity Stampede continues to make strides this season as Oakdale defeated the Wolves 50-12. This is the second time in three weeks Oakdale scored at least 50 points. Oakdale’s JV (6-1) are in third place in the AFC Cencal standings. Oakdale will host the fourth place Cougars (5-2) on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Week seven was not kind to the Peewee Stampede as the Wolves howled to a 32-6 win. This is the team’s second straight loss and they currently sit in sixth place with a 3-4 record. Oakdale looks to get back on track when they host the first place Cougars (5-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
