This past fall the Oakdale girls golf team won the Valley Oak League. The Oakdale boys are on pace for matching the girls championship run as they are currently 7-0 in VOL action.

The boys played three league contests in recent days and have yet to be challenged this season in league match play. In the trio of wins, the boys defeated Lathrop in a no contest, Manteca 204-296 and Kimball 206-256.

Oakdale’s David Myrtakis shot a team low 39 against Lathrop to help lead the Mustangs over the shorthanded Spartans. In the same contest Max Moore shot a 40 for Oakdale. Rounding out the day for the Mustangs were Calvin Reed (41), Tristan Jaramillo (47), Paul Goodreau (53) and Jack Verdegaal (54).
