Several Oakdale travel baseball teams recently completed their season and walked with three championship teams and two runner-up honors for the local squads. Five teams based out of Oakdale traveled to Rainbow Fields Sports Complex outside Riverbank to compete in their respective league championship games.

Claiming the top honors, coming home as champions, were the Oakdale Spurs U10 team, Oakdale Patriots U13 and Oakdale Junior Mustangs U14. Finishing in second place were Oakdale’s Sandlot U11 and Oakdale Wranglers U12 teams, returning to town hoisting their consolation trophies.
