Dear Editor,

At the last regular Mayor’s meeting in August, a majority of the Stanislaus County Mayors endorsed Oakdale Mayor Farrell Jackson in his bid for re-election as Mayor of Oakdale.

Mayor Jackson has proven to be an effective leader during these very difficult economic times. Mayor Jackson has always maintained his desire to truly do what is best for his community even when adversity was at hand.

Mayor Jackson is a strong proponent of the North County Corridor project to which he has voiced his opinion of what good this project will do, not only for his community but the other communities in the North part of the county.

Mayor Jackson is a Member and on the Executive Board for StanCOG to which he has proven his leadership that has earned the respect from the remaining board members.

As Mayor of my City, I offer my support to Mayor Farrell Jackson of Oakdale in his bid for re-election.
