Dear Editor,

In the 1940s, on the corner of “F” Street and Yosemite, there was a war memorial painted on the wall next to the service station by the old theater. It listed the men and women serving in the Armed Forces from the Oakdale area. I am trying to locate a copy to include in my family genealogy. I had two brothers listed on the wall.

The Oakdale Museum is wanting a copy also. Perhaps one of your readers will have a copy that they would share. Call for more information, (805) 526-7607.
